Date Started: Gael Fan was started at September 2007, under a fan-sites.org subdomain, by the awesome Iris. She bough a domain to this site at the same year, and it was online under gaelfan.net since then. After some time, she gave the site to Heather, who offer the site to me in December 2009. Since either me or Heather own the domain gaelfan.net, Gertie bough a new domain to us. GaelFan.com has back to my hands than, since it was a domain I used to own in 2005.

Why Gael?

I’ve known Gael since “Y Tu Mama También”, I absolutely loved him in this movie, but became a huge fan with “The Motorcycle Diaries” – beautiful movie about the social and political awake of Ernest “Che” Guevara. I love the director, Walter Salles, especially because of his film “Central do Brasil”, but this movie was just amazing, and Gael’s performance was stunning. Since then, I’m always searching for news about him and his projects, so I decided to share all this with you guys.
