Outstanding Latin actors Benicio Del Toro and Gael García Bernal will carry out a new film by director Martin Scorsese. The film titled Silence is based on the homonymous novel of Shusaku Endo, whose cinematographic adaptation is being written by scriptwriter Jay Cocks. Puerto Rican Del Toro and Mexican Bernal will play two Jesuit bishops during the 17th century that are introduced clandestinely in Japan in order to find their teacher and promote the education of Christian writings.
