Gael Garcia Bernal’s representative has dismissed reports Bernal has split from his girlfriend amid rumors he is not the father of her child.

The Motorcycle Diaries star welcomed baby boy Lazaro with Argentinian actress Dolores Fonzi in 2009.

Online reports recently surfaced suggesting Bernal had ended their longterm relationship after learning he may not be Lazaro’s biological dad, but Bernal’s spokesperson has denied the reports to People.com and a source close to the star insists the rumors are false.

The insider says, “It’s completely untrue. (They) are happy together and they love their son. This is totally made up.”
