Also, Mexican movie star Gael Garcia Bernal has confirmed he is to become a first-time father.

Following weeks of speculation, “The Motorcycle Diaries” star has announced that his girlfriend, Argentinean actress Dolores Fonzi, is pregnant.

The couple, both 29, has never confirmed the romance, but the two reportedly met and fell in love while shooting the movie “Vidas Privadas” in 2001.

A statement from Bernal’s production company, Canana Films, confirmed the happy news: “This statement is to say that, after so much speculation and comments, the actors Dolores Fonzi and Gael Garcia Bernal are indeed expecting a baby at the start of next year.”

Bernal’s best friend and “Y Tu Mama Tambien” co-star Diego Luna became a first-time dad on Tuesday, welcoming a baby boy with his wife, actress Camila Sodi.
